erik visits

erik hassle came in to perform for our year eights today curtusy of in4merz 'claire'(hudson pr.). he was on a schools tour and he came to our school as one of his gigs. as part of our assessment wer had to organise the whole evening from things like:
meet and greet
interview
posters,flyers general advertismnet so people are aware
Q and A
introduction on artist (little memo). finally signature booth.

there were alot of things that went good and bad as this was our first event we organised completely independently. it was hectic but fun and buzzing.
here are some of the things that went good and bad;

Things that went good;
meet and greet was good. we gave him an excelent and warm welcoming and offered him refreshments which was great
the interview was good. it was very balanced we asked a few important complicated question which then lead to more simpler question which were still important but this finally lead to more easy going layed back question; all of which were appropriate,so that was great
the artist introduction/memo by axhel, was excelent;it was fun,informing and very inventive. it went down really well with erik he called it 'awsome' and said 'i love it,its cool'

things that went bad;
the Q and A went pretty bad which was obvious as there were questioins given to the audience post the event so incase no one in the audience had a question we had back up well that back fired.
the signature booth was mad it was very crowded and cramped; people were pushing so i suggested that we sort it out by asking all the people who were done to leave and wait for anyone outside the theatre. this idea seemed to work and eventually the booth calmed down.

taking all that ino account it was a pretty full on day. losts of things going on but i would say that erik performed really well. i loved his song hurtful it was really catchy and really got me hooked. he was an incredile artist and really genuinely nice and talented guy and it was a pleasure working with him
